IBADAN, OYO STATE – As Muslims worldwide commemorate the end of Ramadan 2025, the Oyo State House of Assembly extends its warmest felicitations to the Muslim community. The Assembly offers prayers for Allah’s continued mercy and the sustained peaceful coexistence that defines Oyo State.
The House of Assembly seeks divine guidance for all three branches of state government, hoping to further enhance developmental projects across Oyo’s diverse sectors.
Hon. Waheed Akintayo, Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Media, and Public Affairs, issued a statement noting the blessings gained during the month of fasting. He expressed confidence that the state will continue to benefit from these blessings under the current administration.
The 10th Oyo State House of Assembly reaffirms its commitment to unity and stability in governance, inspired by the values learned during Ramadan. The Assembly pledges to continue crafting and amending laws that benefit all residents of Oyo State, with a focus on the less privileged.
“We are committed to unity and progress through collaboration with other branches of government,” the statement read. “Through effective legislation, we have demonstrated our commitment and promise to do even more to enhance policies that will pave the way for rapid development across all zones of the State.”
The House urges all Muslim faithful to internalize the key lessons of Ramadan – love, kindness, compassion, selflessness, and altruism – for the betterment of society.
“Happy Eid celebration to our Muslim brothers and sisters. May Allah grant us abundant rewards for our fasting and righteous deeds during Ramadan. May this celebration bring joy and happiness to all.”
