Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano State have apprehended one Muhammad Munzali from Kaura Gidan Damo, Shanono Local Government Area of the state.
The NSCDC operatives, stationed at the Critical National Assets and Infrastructure Department, made the arrest.
Confirming the arrest, NSCDC Public Relations Officer Ibrahim Abdullahi stated in a press release obtained by PUNCH Online that the suspect was captured around 10 pm on Wednesday night.
He was intercepted by vigilant officers of the corps while attempting to sneak into the female hostel of Skyline University Nigeria, located along Sardauna Crescent, Nassarawa GRA, Kano State.

Abdullahi disclosed that the suspect was dressed in women’s clothing and was found with local charms concealed on his person.
Investigations are ongoing to ascertain the motive behind his intrusion into the private university’s women’s hostel.
The State Commandant of NSCDC Kano Command, Mohammed Falala, had previously urged officers and men of the command to heighten surveillance in and around public and private educational institutions in the state.
This directive was issued during a strategic meeting with management to bolster security measures and protect these institutions from criminal activities.
