A Canada-based Nigerian leadership coach, Dr Peter Adeleke, has been shortlisted for the 2026 Young Canadian Change-Makers Award in recognition of his work in leadership development, youth empowerment, mentorship and community impact.
Adeleke, who is also a Guinness World Records title holder, said the nomination was meaningful because it reflected his commitment to helping people recognise their potential and use leadership as a tool for meaningful change.

Adeleke, who is also a Guinness World Records title holder, disclosed the nomination in a statement on his Facebook page, which was sighted by Diaspora Tales on Thursday.
He said the recognition was meaningful because it reflected his commitment to global leadership education and developing leaders.

“Over the years, my mission has remained simple: to develop leaders, inspire people to recognize their potential, create opportunities for others to grow, and use leadership as a tool for meaningful change,” Adeleke said in the statement.
