A Mission of Service
“Over the years, my mission has remained simple: to develop leaders, inspire people to recognize their potential, create opportunities for others to grow, and use leadership as a tool for meaningful change,” Adeleke said in the statement.
“I am thrilled to celebrate the 2026 Young Canadian Change-Makers Award shortlist nominees, an inspiring group of young leaders driving meaningful change across Canada.
Seeing my name among these changemakers is a moment I do not take for granted,” he added.
A Lesson in Purpose-Driven Leadership
Adeleke noted that his experiences had shown him that leadership could transform lives when it was rooted in service and impact. He expressed gratitude for being named among the shortlisted nominees for their contributions across the country.
“Congratulations to Peter Adeleke and all the nominees! This nomination is another reminder that leadership is not simply about titles. It is about people, service, influence, and the positive difference we leave behind,” he said.
A Lesson for Nigerian Youths
Dr Peter Adeleke’s story is a powerful reminder that Nigerians are making meaningful contributions far beyond our shores.
From Canada to the rest of the world, our people are leading, mentoring and creating impact.
The same politicians who dismiss the potential of Nigerian youths will never allow their own children to be overlooked. Their children are taught to dream big and work hard.
For young Nigerians, the lesson is clear: your potential is not limited by your passport.
Whether in leadership, education, entrepreneurship or community service, the world is waiting for your contribution.
