The Nigerian Army, alongside Hybrid forces, has conducted successful operations in Borno and Katsina states, resulting in the neutralization of three terrorists.
During these operations, rustled cattle and weapons were recovered from the terrorists.
In Borno State, troops engaged terrorists in a firefight in the Gori general area of Gwoza Local Government Area. One terrorist was neutralized, and arms, ammunition, and rustled cattle were recovered.
The recovered items included two AK-47 rifles, 38 rounds of 7.62 mm special ammunition, AK-47 magazines, an Improvised Explosive Device, and a motorcycle.

In Katsina State, troops conducted offensive operations in the Garin Rinji general area of Batsari Local Government Area. Two terrorists were neutralized, and two motorcycles along with 25 rustled livestock were recovered.
The troops overwhelmed the insurgents with superior firepower, destroying several hideouts in the process.
These operations are part of ongoing efforts to clear terrorist elements from the northern part of the country.
