​Jimmy Donaldson, universally recognized as the world’s most-subscribed content creator MrBeast, has officially married his longtime partner, South African author and streamer Thea Booysen.

​The high-profile couple exchanged vows during an exclusive, week-long celebration on Necker Island, the private British Virgin Islands retreat owned by billionaire Richard Branson. The festivities, which commenced on July 14, brought together around 70 close friends and family members for a blend of tropical recreation—including snorkeling, kitesurfing, and interacting with the island’s native wildlife—and formal ceremonies.

​The bride stunned in a custom white gown crafted by Nicole + Felicia Couture, complemented by a bridal robe from Banke Kuku, while the groom donned a classic Ralph Lauren tuxedo. The ceremony was officiated by an ordained minister and family friend, leading into a reception featuring a bespoke carrot cake and a first dance to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ hit single “Die With a Smile”.

​Sharing the milestone with his massive digital footprint, Donaldson posted wedding portraits on Instagram with the caption, “I found MrsBeast ❤️❤️❤️ and it was the best day of my life.” Following the announcement, Booysen updated her professional and social media handles to Thea Donaldson.

​The couple’s relationship dates back to 2022, when Donaldson crossed paths with Booysen during a trip to South Africa. After years of building their lives together, Donaldson proposed in an intimate setting on Christmas Day in 2024. Reflecting on the milestone, Booysen noted that the wedding served as a formal celebration of a partnership built with marriage in mind from its inception.
