The kinetic operations yielded a high-value catch on November 5, 2026, when operatives of Sector 1, acting in seamless synergy with the Department of State Services (DSS), effected the arrest of a notorious terror suspect identified as Auta Maikyala.
According to official military disclosures made available by the Acting Media Information Officer for the Joint Task Force, Captain Tamuno Sinivie, the suspect was tracked down to a private medical facility in Kagarko town, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
”Preliminary investigations reveal that Maikyala sneaked into the hospital facility to seek urgent medical attention for severe gunshot wounds sustained during a bloody supremacy clash with a rival criminal faction,” Captain Sinivie stated.
Military records link Maikyala to a litany of heinous crimes across the region, including orchestrating coordinated community raids, high-stakes kidnapping-for-ransom rings, and large-scale cattle rustling. Security forces confirmed that the suspect is currently cooling his heels in a secure military holding facility, undergoing intensive interrogation ahead of formal prosecution.
