ABEOKUTA — A domestic dispute involving Dr. Seun Ebiesuwa, a lecturer at Babcock University, has taken a disturbing turn as his wife publicly accuses him of physical assault during a violent confrontation.
The distressing incident, which unfolded on September 13, 2026, reportedly centers around a bitter disagreement regarding the custody of their children. Speaking out on the ordeal, the victim displayed visible injuries, pointing to a swollen face, head trauma, and a bruised mouth.
According to the victim, the altercation began after she discovered that her husband had gone to her father’s residence and removed the children without her knowledge or consent. Prompted by shock and concern, she rushed to intercept him.
Upon arrival, she met the university lecturer quietly packing the children’s belongings. Things escalated rapidly, however, when Dr. Ebiesuwa allegedly closed the physical distance between them and began speaking aggressively directly into her face.
Detailing the sequence of events, she stated that she demanded he step back and gave him a shove. It was at this juncture that the situation turned brutally physical.

The victim alleged that the academic continued to rain blows on her unchecked until her brothers arrived at the scene, forcefully intervened, and ejected him from the premises.
The allegations have sparked widespread online reactions regarding domestic violence and child custody disputes. Management at Babcock University has yet to issue an official statement regarding the conduct of the lecturer as calls for formal investigations mount.
