Just In: Aiyedatiwa 18-0 Agboola, as APC wins all 18 LGAs in Ondo Guber election

..….As Agboola, emerge second runners up.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of the APC as the winner of November 16 2024 governorship election in Ondo State.

In the result announced by the INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Aiyedatiwa won all the 18 local government in the state.

Flanked by the INEC’s Ondo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola, Prof Akinwunmi at the INEC State Headquarters in Akure, said Aiyedatiwa polled 366,781 to defeat Hon. Agboola Ajayi of the PDP who scored 117,845 votes and Dr Abass Mimiko who polled 2693 While Gbenga Edema of NNPP scored 206votes.
