JAMB Eases Admission: Candidates Can Now Upload O’Level Results From Home

​ABUJA — The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a digital service enabling candidates to verify and upload their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results directly from their homes, eliminating the need to visit Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.

​Announced by JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the automated arrangement begins with results issued by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

​The initiative is designed to curb administrative bottlenecks, including long queues, misplaced paper certificates, fraudulent results, and human errors associated with manual data entry. Through an integration with examining bodies, candidates’ credentials are electronically verified against official records before downloading into their profiles.

​Step-by-Step Guide to Result Verification and Upload

• ​Step 1: Access the designated portal at buyresultsverificationcode.ng.
• ​Step 2: Input your National Identification Number (NIN) and click “Verify NIN”.

• ​Step 3: Select the number of examination sittings and the relevant issuing body, then click “Continue”.
• ​Step 4: Provide a valid email address and mobile phone number, then click “Pay Now” to proceed to the secure gateway for debit card or bank transfer payments.
• ​Step 5: Upon successful transaction, enter your specific exam details, including examination number, series, and year.

• ​Step 6: Generate your unique Verification Code.

• ​Step 7: Text the word VERIFY followed by your code to 55019 or 66019.

• ​Step 8: Candidates with two sittings should log into their JAMB e-Facility dashboard, navigate to “2026 UTME O’Level Upload,” and input the code to display both verified records.

• ​Step 9: Select between five and nine required subjects (without repeating any single subject) and click “Apply the O’Level Results” to complete the submission.

​JAMB noted that the remote framework serves as a seamless alternative during periods of heavy network congestion at physical cyber cafes and accredited centres.
