“He’s Not Stepping Down”: ADC Chieftain Rejects Kwankwaso on Atiku

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress has rejected former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso’s call for Atiku Abubakar to withdraw from the 2027 presidential race.

Kwankwaso recently urged Atiku to step aside, citing concerns about age and health while suggesting that he should focus on his traditional title as Wazirin Adamawa.

The ADC chieftain, however, dismissed the suggestion and insisted that Atiku remains the party’s presidential candidate.
