A delegation from the Lagos State Civil Service recently commended the rapid progress of the Gateway International Airport project in Ogun State during a week-long visit. Led by the Lagos State Head of Service, the team was guided through the airport site by Ogun’s Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, and welcomed by Commissioners Gbenga Dairo (Transportation) and Ade Akinsanya (Works and Infrastructure), with an expert tour by the Governor’s Aviation Consultant, Capt. Olumide.
The visit coincided with the team’s participation in a programme at the Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona School of Governance, organized by the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru. Members praised the Gateway International Airport project as a critical development that will ease pressure on Lagos’s Murtala Muhammed International Airport and energize economic activities across the South-West region.
