Tijani Oluwatoyin, the best graduating student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, (FUNAAB) at the recently concluded 30th convocation ceremony has in recognition of the tremendous impact of the linbrary of the University to her academic attainment paid a thank you visit to the Nimbe Adedipe library of the University.
According to the librarian of the University, Dr. Kehinde Owolabi , the visit of the valedictorian held a profound significance to the staff of the library.
”A moment of pure elation graced the atmosphere as Tijani Oluwatoyin, the valedictorian of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) graduating class, adorned in academic regalia, entered the precincts of the ‘Nimbe Adedipe Library’ to extend her heartfelt appreciation. Graduating from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics with a stellar CGPA of 4.90, Tijani Oluwatoyin’s visit held a profound significance”.
ValidViewNetwork had earlier reported that Tijani Oluwatoyin who had lost her dad in 200 level and married with a child emerged as the best graduating student of the prestigious Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
According to the University Librarian, the best graduating student demonstrated a high level of appreciation to the University for providing a conducive library environment which contributed immensely to her success.
”With genuine sincerity, she conveyed her gratitude to the University Management for diligently furnishing the library with essential resources, transforming it into an academic haven. She also praised the amiable library staff for their approachable demeanor, fostering an atmosphere of warmth and support”.

The valedictorian used the opportunity of the historic visit to reflect on the countless hours she spent in the library espacially during examination periods, Owolabi stated.
” We were to hear her share how her academic journey had been profoundly shaped by the countless hours spent immersed in the library’s embrace. She emphasized the critical role played by the library’s round-the-clock services, especially during the intense examination periods. This unwavering accessibility, offering unrestricted access to a plethora of knowledge-laden volumes that enriched her studies. she affirmed, significantly propelled her achievements.
The university librarian, Dr Kehinde Owolabi, while appreciating the best graduating student for her thoughtfulness in finding time to visit the library attributed the success stories of the library to the commitment of the University Management to ensure that the Nimbe Adedipe Library of the University becomes the best among equals to contribute immensely to prominence of the university at global level. He equally thanked the staff of the library for their unwavering dedication and diligence, ValidViewNetwork reports.
