Following the expiration of the tenure of Dr. Segun Ogundiran as the Global President of FUNAAB Alumni Association, Mr. Bolaji Gbadamosi has been elected as the new Global President to steer the affairs of the Alumni Association for the next four years.
The change of baton occurred at the Association’s 26th Annual Convention and 25th Annual Lecture Series, held in the University on Saturday, February 17, 2024.
Mr. Bolaji Gbadamosi, a proud son of Ibadanland was born on August 26, 1971 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He got admitted into the then University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB), now Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in 1990 to Study Plant Production and Crop Protection.
Upon graduation, Mr. Gbadamosi worked in several places, both in private and public enterprises, before relocating to the United States of America (USA) for more exploits.
Mr. Gbadamosi had the privilege of being the first Alumnus to represent his great Association at the Durban Climate Change Conference (IAESA), in Durban, South Africa in 2011.
The team to the IAESA conference was led by Prof. Chryss Onwuka in 2011 and the International Conference was held at Durban University of Technology (DUT), Durban, South Africa.
Now the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Best Worth Advance Consult (USA and Nigeria). Mr. Gbadamosi belongs to various professional associations such as All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAM); Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN), Oyo State Branch; United Nigerian Movement for Change (UNMC America); Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), and Pennsylvania Farm Show Foundation.
In addition, he belongs to the Pennsylvania Food Merchant Association; Pennsylvania Farmers Union; Pennsylvania Livestock Association and Pennsylvania Farm Bureau which has the largest farm organisation in Pennsylvania State.
Before his election as Global President of the Alumni Association, Mr Gbadamosi had served in various capacities in the Alumni Association both at the Oyo State and the National body. He is happily married married with children.
He comes to the table with wealth of experience from both public and private, non-profit and particularly more than a decade experience iin Alumni administration.
