Fresh Rivalry Explodes as Phyna Challenges Etinosa After Historic Knockout Victory

LAGOS — Fresh off a dramatic fourth-round knockout victory over actress Nkechi Blessing at the Balmoral Group’s “Chaos in the Ring” event, reality TV star Josephina “Phyna” Otabor has wasted no time setting her sights on a fresh target.

The high-profile Independence event, held at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, saw the Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner cash out a staggering 50 million Naira grand prize, walk away with a championship belt, and drive off in a brand-new electric vehicle. But the entertainment did not end with the final bell.

During her post-fight interview, an energized Phyna was asked who she planned to face next inside the squared circle. Without hesitation, she called out fellow Nollywood personality Etinosa Idemudia, claiming that uninvited direct messages had pushed the tension past a boiling point.

”That will be Etinosa. She’s been messing around in my DM, and thank God for Chaos in the Ring. Etinosa, her time is now overdue,” Phyna declared.

The feud, which has rapidly transitioned from social media back-and-forth into physical confrontation territory, drew an immediate reaction. Etinosa, who was present ringside for the Lagos spectacle, wasted little time stepping up to the plate.

However, Etinosa defended her previous outreach, maintaining that her online messages were meant to be constructive rather than malicious.

”Moving around to advise you to carry yourself and Edo name with pride, na bad thing I do? You don get the confidence now. Challenge well accepted,” Etinosa retorted, signaling her readiness to settle scores under the bright lights.

The debut of female celebrity boxing under the Chaos banner has captured the imagination of Nigerian pop culture enthusiasts, turning digital squabbles into high-stakes athletic showdowns. With Phyna riding high on her newly cemented status as a combat champion and Etinosa locking in her stance, fans are left anticipating whether promoters will officially ink the next chapter of celebrity brawls.
