LAGOS — The Adeosun family has announced the passing of Mr. Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun, husband to Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun. He passed away at the age of 62.
According to a formal statement released by the family and signed by Reverend C. A. Adeosun, Mr. Adeosun breathed his last in Lagos.
Described as a distinguished businessman and a dedicated Christian, the late Niyi Adeosun was remembered for a life defined by professional integrity, quiet philanthropy, and an unwavering commitment to his community.
”Niyi lived a life defined by hard work, service to God, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community. His steadfast faith and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him,” the family statement read.
The unexpected loss has drawn sympathy and condolences from political and business associates, friends, and well-wishers as the family grieves. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in due course.
