The 79-year-old actor, revered for his commanding screen presence and lifelong commitment to social justice, chose to go public with the diagnosis this week during an exclusive interview on NBC’s Today show.

​“I don’t feel like it’s the end of my life. There’s work to do. Your life continues,” Glover stated.
