CAN Urges Action and Unity as Muslims Mark Eid-el-Maulud

​In a message commemorating the Eid-el-Maulud celebrations, CAN President Archbishop Daniel Okoh urged Nigerians to embody core virtues such as mercy, compassion, justice, and peaceful coexistence. He noted that the festive period arrives during a demanding period characterized by elevated living costs and security concerns impacting households nationwide.

​Highlighting the responsibilities of public office, the CAN leadership stressed that effective governance is measured by visible improvements in the daily lives of citizens rather than rhetoric. The association further appealed to political actors to refrain from exploiting ethnic and religious divisions for political gain as the country looks toward upcoming electoral cycles, underscoring the enduring importance of national unity and shared civic responsibility.
