The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje, has inaugurated a six-man committee comprising six governors to oversee party affairs in their respective geo-political zones.
The governors were sworn in during a ceremony held at the APC national headquarters in Abuja.
The committee members include Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Bassey Otu of Cross River State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Uba Sani of Kaduna State, and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State.
Following their oath-taking, Ganduje announced that the governors have been tasked with initiating periodic interactions with members of the Progressive Governor’s Forum within their zones and the party leadership.

Sanwo-Olu will coordinate the party’s activities in the South-West, while Uzodimma will oversee the South-East. Otu will be in charge of the South-South, while AbdulRazaq, Sani, and Buni will coordinate the affairs of the North-Central, North-West, and North-East regions, respectively.
Ganduje emphasized the importance of effective coordination at the zonal level to mobilize support and disseminate information on government activities to the grassroots.
He urged the newly inaugurated coordinators to collaborate with other governors within their zones and actively participate in party activities both within and outside their respective regions.
In response, Uzodimma expressed gratitude for the opportunity given to them and pledged to fulfill the expectations of the party.
He emphasized the importance of inclusive participation and promised to support the government in ensuring its functionality and effectiveness while strengthening the reward system within the party.
