“THEY TOOK HIM FROM OUR HOME”: WIFE’S NINE-YEAR FIGHT FOR MISSING HUSBAND

Nine years after her husband, Chukwuemeka John-Anozie, allegedly disappeared from their family home in Lekki, Lagos, Mrs Nnenna John-Anozie is demanding answers from the Nigeria Police Force.

The woman alleges that her husband was taken from their home on June 15, 2017, and has not been seen since. For nine years, the family has lived without knowing whether he is alive or dead.

A DISAPPEARANCE WITHOUT CLOSURE

The prolonged uncertainty has left the family trapped between hope and grief. Unlike a confirmed death, disappearance without a body or definitive information leaves relatives unable to establish what happened or properly mourn.

Mrs John-Anozie has now renewed her demand for the police to explain the circumstances surrounding her husband’s disappearance.
