​French authorities have uncovered an elaborate criminal conspiracy targeting high-profile figures, with Real Madrid and France captain Kylian Mbappé identified as a principal target of a kidnapping ring orchestrated from behind bars.

​According to investigative reports from Le Parisien, the sprawling plot was allegedly directed by an 18-year-old inmate identified as Clément L. Already held in pre-trial detention at a French correctional facility for organized robbery and pimping, the primary suspect reportedly managed to secure two mobile phones inside his cell to command operations via Snapchat under the alias “Lester Z”.

​The chilling operation came to light following a police investigation into a violent armed robbery targeting a watchmaker in Paris. Subsequent cell searches by prison guards led to the seizure of the contraband devices, revealing a dossier containing the personal addresses and private information of 26 wealthy individuals.
