Senator Ned Nwoko Alleges Ann Idibia as Drug Supplier to Regina Daniels Amid Domestic Turmoil

In a startling revelation that has stirred controversy on social media and beyond, Senator Ned Nwoko, notable businessman and politician, has accused Ann Idibia, the ex-wife of renowned musician 2Baba, of being a supplier of drugs to his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.

The allegation surfaced amid escalating domestic tensions and intense public scrutiny concerning Regina Daniels’ recent behaviour. Senator Nwoko took to his verified Facebook page to break his silence on long-rumoured domestic violence allegations, refuting claims that he was abusive toward his wife. Instead, he painted a picture of a troubled household dominated by Regina’s alleged struggle with drug and alcohol abuse.

Describing Regina’s actions as “unprovoked carnage and rampage,” Nwoko accused her of assaulting several domestic staff members and engaging in destructive behaviour within their home. The Senator also revealed that he had urged Regina to seek professional rehabilitation, either locally in Abuja or abroad, to tackle her addiction issues.

Central to his statement was the identification of two individuals allegedly supplying drugs to Regina. While naming a certain “Sammy” as the primary supplier, Nwoko further claimed that Ann Idibia, whom he referred to disparagingly, was also involved in providing drugs to the actress.

This allegation has added a new dimension to an already complicated situation, as Ann Idibia is a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, known for her past marriage to music icon 2Baba. The accusations come as the couple’s domestic issues have spilled over into the public domain, with various parties taking sides on social media platforms.

Senator Nwoko, who represents Delta North Senatorial District, categorically denied any violent conduct toward Regina, insisting he was the victim of falsehoods. He further disclosed an incident where Regina allegedly threatened their resident nurse who exposed her drug use, emphasizing the urgency of her rehabilitation.

The developments have cast a spotlight on the private lives of one of Nigeria’s most talked-about couples, intertwining celebrity culture with grave personal challenges. Legal experts suggest that these public allegations, if unfounded, could lead to defamation suits given the high-profile nature of the individuals involved.

As the story unfolds, both the entertainment community and the general public await responses from Ann Idibia and Regina Daniels. Meanwhile, the debate on substance abuse, domestic violence, and privacy in the lives of public figures continues to gain momentum.
