16-Year-Old Breaks ICAN Record

​A 16-year-old girl, Osasere Okundaye, has shattered national records by becoming Nigeria’s youngest chartered accountant.

​Okundaye achieved this historic milestone after successfully scaling the rigorous professional examinations organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). Her feat eclipses the previous record set in 2022 by Jonathan Adewale, who qualified at the age of 17.
