Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State – Tragedy struck in a farming community in Delta State yesterday when a woman was reportedly abducted by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Sources indicate that the incident occurred while the woman and her husband were working on their farm. Upon sighting the approaching herdsmen, the couple attempted to flee. Sadly, the woman was unable to outrun the armed men and was subsequently captured, while her husband managed to escape.

This incident adds to the growing concerns over the activities of suspected herdsmen in various parts of Delta State, raising fears among farmers and residents. While details surrounding the identity of the victim and the motive for the abduction remain scarce, local authorities are expected to commence investigations into the matter.
