Tinubu returns from France days to inauguration

The President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria eight days to his inauguration.

Tinubu was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja by the Vice President-elect, Kasim Shettima, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and other APC chieftains.

The President-elect had left the country for Europe about 10 days ago to meet with investors and finetune transition plans, his spokesman, Tunde Rahman, had said.

The trip is the second for the incoming president in the last couple of weeks to the french capital city of Paris.

Tinubu had during his latest trip to France met with the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso.
