Temi Nkem Crowned BBNaija Season 11 Winner

Temitope Chigbue, popularly known as Temi Nkem, has been crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, the “Show Ya Sef” edition, after a closely fought final that capped 70 days of drama, strategy and public voting.

The 21-year-old London-raised housemate of Delta origin secured 25.87 per cent of the final votes to edge out first runner-up Aikou (23.68 per cent) and second runner-up Sheba (9.80 per cent). Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the result during the live grand finale on Sunday, October 4, 2026, bringing the curtain down on a season that began on July 26 with 24 contestants.

Temi Nkem takes home a grand prize package valued at ₦160 million. This comprises ₦90 million in cash — adjusted from the original ₦100 million after ₦10 million was allocated to the Most Influential Player of the Week prize fund — a brand-new SUV and additional sponsored rewards. The package ranks among the largest in the show’s history.

Nine finalists — Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Tram and Temi Nkem — entered the finale night. Six were eliminated in succession: Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia. That left the final three to face the decisive public vote.

Temi’s path to victory included one of the season’s most memorable twists. A week before the finale, she, Ricky and Tram were removed from the house in what housemates believed were genuine evictions. Biggie later revealed the exits were staged; the three were kept in secret and returned, giving Temi a second chance that she fully capitalised on.

Her win makes her the fifth woman to claim the Big Brother Naija crown, following earlier female champions including Mercy Eke, Phyna, Ilebaye and Season 10 winner Imisi. The finale, which featured live performances by Teni and Oshamo, closed a campaign marked by house disputes, relationships, eviction scares and strong viewer engagement across Nigeria and the wider African audience.

With the lights now out in Biggie’s house, Temi Nkem leaves as the latest champion of Nigeria’s biggest reality television franchise, armed with a substantial prize and a platform that has launched many previous winners into wider entertainment careers.
