Tate Brothers Vow Return to UK to Fight Rape, Trafficking Charges

London, UK –Controversial influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate have announced their intention to return to the United Kingdom to defend themselves against a slew of grave charges, including rape and human trafficking. The confirmation comes from their legal representatives, Holborn Adams law firm, following the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) finally detailing charges that were authorized in January 2024.

Andrew Tate, 38, faces 10 charges related to three women, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, and controlling prostitution for gain. His younger brother, Tristan Tate, 36, is charged with 11 offenses concerning one woman, which include rape, human trafficking, and actual bodily harm. These alleged offenses reportedly stem from a period between 2012 and 2015, originating from Bedfordshire, where the dual US and British citizens grew up before moving to Romania in 2016.

The Tates’ legal team expressed concern that British prosecutors have not shared crucial information about the charges, including the identities of the alleged victims. “These are historic allegations and our clients are not even being told who the supposed victims are,” stated Holborn Adams, suggesting a “different approach on the basis of the profile of our clients.”

The brothers, who command millions of followers online, particularly Andrew known for his self-professed misogynistic views, are currently embroiled in separate legal battles in Romania. They were arrested in late 2022 and subsequently indicted on charges of participating in a criminal ring that allegedly lured and sexually exploited women. Andrew Tate also faces a rape charge in Romania. The siblings have consistently denied all allegations in both countries.

A Romanian appeals court in December previously noted legal and procedural irregularities in a human trafficking case against them, causing a delay in proceedings there. However, Romanian courts have issued an order for their extradition to the UK once their current legal cases in Romania are concluded.

The Tates’ lawyers maintain their clients possess information that could undermine the UK allegations but claim police and prosecutors have been unwilling to engage with them. Despite this, they affirm the brothers’ commitment to returning to England to “aggressively defend” themselves once their Romanian legal proceedings are finalized.
