Speeding Ambulance kills 3 people in Abia State

In a tragic incident, three individuals lost their lives in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State when a speeding ambulance collided with them.

The incident occurred in front of Dacoo Petrol Station at Umuafukwu/Umuagwa village along Ikot Ekpene Road.

Eyewitnesses reported that a black-colored Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) designated for ambulance services was recklessly speeding when it crashed into tricycles and motorcycles.

The impact of the collision resulted in the unfortunate deaths of three victims, while several others sustained severe injuries.

The incident, which took place around noon on Thursday, November 23, left the community in shock.

After the collision, the ambulance driver continued to drive at high speed until eventually crashing into a nearby bush.

They were swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

This unfortunate event follows another recent tragedy in Abia State, where a 40-feet container fell from a truck at Ogbor Hill in Aba, leading to the crushing of vehicles and loss of lives.
