Security Apprehend Suspect with Explosives in ONELGA

A major security breach was averted in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) as Traceguard Security Company Limited, a subcontractor to Oando, apprehended a suspect attempting to sabotage an oil pipeline.

The suspect, identified as Mr. Chukwumela Ucheju, alias Eke’nwaohia, was caught in possession of explosives, allegedly intended to blow up a pipeline belonging to Oando. The security operatives acted swiftly upon receiving intelligence, leading to his arrest.

Following his apprehension, Ucheju has been handed over to the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Omoku for further questioning. Security officials have confirmed that investigations are ongoing to uncover possible accomplices and the full extent of the planned attack.
