Sarah Yusuf Wins 2025 Maltina Teacher of the Year, Takes Home ₦10 Million Prize

In a landmark celebration of educational excellence, Sarah Yusuf, an English teacher from Wisdom International School of Excellence (WISE), Abuja, has been crowned the 2025 Maltina Teacher of the Year. The prestigious award ceremony was held at Eko Hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracting educators, policymakers, and stakeholders from across Nigeria. Sarah Yusuf walked away with a ₦10 million cash prize, an international capacity-building opportunity, and a ₦30 million school infrastructure grant.

Her victory is a testament to her unwavering commitment to transforming education through innovative teaching methods and empowering underserved students. Sarah’s initiatives include the launch of digital literacy programs, robotics, AI exposure, and gender equity campaigns targeting thousands of young learners. These efforts have notably propelled WISE to rank among the Top 10 World’s Best Schools in 2024.
