The digital landscape in Ghana is currently embroiled in a heated debate over privacy and ethics following the activities of a Russian national identified as Yaytseslav. The individual has reportedly been recording and monetizing private encounters with multiple Ghanaian women, sparking widespread condemnation and calls for legal intervention.
The Pattern of Operation
Yaytseslav reportedly frequents high-traffic areas, specifically the Accra Mall, where he initiates conversations with unsuspecting shoppers and passersby. His “content” strategy follows a specific trajectory:
- Initial Contact: Approaching women in public spaces to strike up conversations.
- Digital Bait: Persuading individuals to exchange contact information.
- Monetization: Uploading free-to-view interactions on TikTok and YouTube, while allegedly hosting explicit, intimate footage on a private Telegram channel accessible via a $5 monthly subscription.
Privacy and Consent Concerns
The controversy reached a fever pitch after reports surfaced of approximately 40 videos circulating across his platforms. One particularly contentious clip features a woman at his residence wearing only a towel, suggesting a level of intimacy that critics argue may have been captured or shared without informed consent.

While the man’s public platforms show seemingly consensual dialogue, the move to monetize “exclusive” content on Telegram has raised serious ethical and potentially legal red flags regarding the exploitation of Ghanaian women for digital profit.

Public and Legal Backlash
Social media users have labeled the behavior as predatory, urging the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) and the Ghana Police Service to investigate. The primary concern is whether the women involved were aware that their private moments would be sold to a global audience.

As of yesterday, February 14, 2026, no official statement has been released by local law enforcement, though the public outcry continues to mount.
