REPORT YOURSELF OR RISK ARREST- OGUN POLICE ORDERS “PORTABLE”

In a swift reaction to a video which has gone viral on the social media, the authorities of the Ogun State Police has directed the controversial popular artiste, Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a. Portable , to report himself to the nearest Police Station.

ValidViewnetwork reports that the video which is claimed to have been recorded in a place in part of Ogun State had Portable, the Zazu Crooner ordering some youths to harass and beat up a young man thereby inflicting bodily injuries on the young man.

In the video which lasted for one minute 56 seconds and obtained by Validviewnetwork, the artiste with his co-travelers constituted threat and risk to the young man.

Expectedly and in line with zero tolerance of the authorities of Ogun State Police on hooliganism, public disturbance and any social misdemeanor, the authorities of Ogun State Police has ordered the Zazu Crooner to report himself immediately or risk being arrested.

Validviewnetwork reports that such negative tendencies should not be traced to a youth who incidentally is a model to many others.

Validviewnetwork opined that if such acts are not properly curtailed, it could send a wrong signal to the youths.
According to the Police Spokesman in Ogun State, DSP Abimbola OYEYEMI, Habeeb Okikiiola a.k.a. Portable should report at the nearest Police Station or risk being arrested.

In the opinion of some observers of the activities of the controversial artiste, Police and the general public should help to reform the orientation of the artiste as his alleged lawlessness and audacity is assuming a dangerous dimension. Validviewnetwork recalls that recently, the Zazu Crooner also threatened any artist who wins Headies before him though he later apologized.

The attention of Ogun State Police Command has been drawn to a video clip circulating on social media where a popular hiphop musician Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable, the Zazu crooner was seen organizing some youths to beat up a young man and inflict bodily injury on him.

The incident was said to have taken place somewhere within Ogun State about two days ago. Such unruly and violent behavior is not only barbaric, but unbecoming of somebody who supposed to be a role model for the youths and therefore should not be tolerated.In view of this, the Command is using this medium to advise Okikiola Habeeb a.k.a Portable to report himself at the nearest police station in Ogun State, failure of which his arrest will be ordered.

The flagrant display of impunity by portable in the viral video is condemnable and if not checked, it will send a wrong signal to the youths who are looking up to him as a role model.
Jungle justice has no place in our laws and whoever embarked on it must be made to feel the weight of the law, no matter the status of such person.
