Following the siege on the Ikoyi office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, by agents of the Department of State Service, DSS, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed the secret police to immediately vacate the premises.
Operatives of the DSS on Tuesday stormed the Lagos office of the EFCC, preventing officials of the anti-graft agency from gaining access to their office in Ikoyi.
President Tinubu gave the directive when report of the incident was brought to his attention.
A media aide of the president, Tunde Rahman disclosed this in a statement.
According to Rahman, the President said if there were issues between the two important agencies of government, they would be resolved amicably.
