Prior to the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee, denied revealing his manifesto.
On Monday, the former governor of Anambra state made this announcement using his verified Twitter account.
Prior to the LP flagbearer announcement, it was widely reported that Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed had unveiled a seven point agenda outlining how they intend to tackle the myriad of challenges bedeviling the nation if elected to address the nation’s issues if elected in 2023.

Doyin Okupe, the head of Obi’s campaign, revealed on Sunday that the manifesto was tagged “The Pact with Nigeria.” The 48-page policy document, according to Okupe, prioritizes the actions that the Obi-Baba Ahmed administration would take if elected the president of Nigeria.
However , dissociating himself from the said document, Obi declared “The people should ignore the manifesto that is now circulating as he will personally reveal the final, approved version of the manifesto.”
He wrote, “We have not formally released our Manifesto. I will do so personally. It seems an earlier draft copy under review has made its way into the public space. Until I release the approved and final draft, please disregard what is being circulated.”
Peter Obi remains one of the leading candidates for the position of the highest office in Nigeria as the 2023 election draws nearer.
