Drama unfolded in Ibadan on Wednesday as three men engaged in heated arguments over the paternity of two children from a woman they all claimed they were married to.
The woman at the centre of the controversy, Taiba Raman, added to the complexity by confirming that she had a sexual relationship with all three men around the same time.
According to the men, they married Raman after fulfilling her mother’s condition of helping to pay off her debts before they could marry her.
They all asserted that they assisted in clearing her debts and subsequently married her.
Complications arose when two of the men claimed to have fathered a child each with Raman, only to have them given to another man who insisted he was the father of both children.

These revelations emerged during a radio programme hosted by Oriyomi Hamzat, called Kokoro Alate on Agidigbo 88.7 FM in Ibadan on Wednesday.
Sharafa, one of the men, recounted his experience, stating that he paid off Raman’s debts after meeting her mother’s condition.
However, disputes arose when someone else claimed ownership of their first child, leading to confusion and even the exhumation of the child’s placenta.
Similarly, Oseni, another man, claimed paternity of the second child after living with Raman for eight months and contributing towards clearing her debts.
Rauf, the third man, expressed surprise at discovering Raman’s involvement with other men while they were together but insisted he was the father of both children.
In her defense, Raman maintained that Rauf was the father of the children, despite being married to all three men and having relationships with them.
