ValidViewNetwork reports that the Oyo State Police Command has arrested two suspects over the abduction of 38-year-old Nathaniel Peter in Oriire Local Government Area.
The suspects were identified as Muhammadu Abubakar and Jayun Danali.
Police said armed men invaded Peter’s home at Layeri Village near Ikoyi-Ile and forcibly took him away.
The attackers reportedly escaped through a forest after taking a motorcycle and the victim’s phone.
ValidViewNetwork gathered that police are using information obtained from the arrested suspects to pursue other members of the alleged gang.
The arrests remain subject to due process..The case also keeps the spotlight on rural kidnapping routes in Oyo and the need for sustained pressure on authorities until victims are safely returned. ValidViewNetwork reports.
