Oniyide Ayodeji, Local Government Chairman Aspirant, Sets To Empower Youths, Make Education, And Welfare Of Aged Adults Top Priority

Oniyide Ayodeji, a United Kingdom based business mogul who is aspiring to be the next Local Government Chairman of Yewa South Local Government under the umbrella of All Progressive Congress (APC) has reeled out action plan agenda that will take Yewa South Local Government to an enviable heights.

Revealing his agenda to newsmen at a press conference in Abeokuta, Oniyide stated that Youth Empowerment, Qualitative Education and first class welfare package for the aged adults will be on the top priority list of his administration if given the mantle of leadership to pilot the affairs of Yewa South Local Government.

He said each time he visits home, it always dawn on him that new things can be done to make the Local Government compete favorably well with other Local Governments in Ogun State and Nigeria by extension in terms of development.

” When i look at my community, i believe i have a lot i can contribute to lift up and improve the economic status and livelihood of our people in the council area.”

” I want to step into the shoes of my late father ,Chief Solomon Abiodun Oniyide who was was the former secretary to the Local government during the regime of Aremo Olusegun Osoba I have been in and out of the country and i discovered that there is no unique development in Yewa Council Area. “– He added.

Revealing his plan for the aged adults, Oniyide noted that most times politicians put priorities on the youths, women and children, neglecting the aged ones which is the reason why he is making their welfare as part of his priorities.

” I want to have a foundation where the aged ones will be picked up in the morning to a specially prepared game centers across the length and breadth of the council area where they will be looked after, make provision for food and other necessities of life and equally engage them in games as well interact with their peers before returning them to their respective homes by 6pm.”— The Chairman Aspirant explained.

Oniyide Ayodeji, therefore, enjoined sons and daughters of Yewa South Local Government to give him their maximum support to be able to actualize his dream of new Yewa South Local Government that everybody will be proud of at all times.
