Ogun State is in mourning following the passing of Ambassador Tunde Oladunjoye, the State Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a chief consultant to the state government. Governor Dapo Abiodun, in an official statement, described Oladunjoye’s death as a profound loss to the party, the administration, and the people of Ogun State.
Governor Abiodun expressed deep shock and sorrow at the news, noting that Oladunjoye was a dynamic, loyal, and committed leader who died in the prime of his life. He praised Oladunjoye as a forthright and consummate politician, whose unwavering commitment and courage made him a stabilizing force within the APC and government circles. The governor highlighted Oladunjoye’s unmatched brilliance, tenacity, and loyalty, stating that his contributions were instrumental to the successes recorded by the administration and the growth of the party in Ogun State.
“Tunde Oladunjoye was a voice of courage and easily the best spokesman Ogun APC has ever produced,” Governor Abiodun said. “His doggedness and dedication to the cause he believed in shone through at all times. He was frank, forthright, and focused—a good man who will be sorely missed.”.
The governor extended his heartfelt condolences to Oladunjoye’s family, the APC, and his many friends, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul and reaffirming the administration’s commitment to supporting his loved ones during this difficult time.
