All is now set for the maiden edition of the Ogun State Employment Conference which starts on Wednesday, October 11 and ends on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
A release issued in Abeokuta by the Chairman, Local Organising Committee, Ogun State Employment Conference, Dr. Olu. Ola. Aikulola, who is also the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, said the 2-Day conference which is a collaboration between the Ogun State Government and German Government through German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) holds at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta by 9.00am prompt daily.
The release adds that the Conference themed, ” Addressing Employment and Job Creation in Ogun State-Tapping into the Global and Local Opportunities” will bring together the organised private sector, labour market actors, youths and other relevant stakeholders to deliberate on sectoral issues with the aim of improving the prospects of gainful employment to the teeming youths of the State.
It notes that the Conference would be formally declared open by the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun with other top government functionaries in attendance.
The release also enjoins job seekers and the general public to attend the program virtually via the Zoom network.
