The Police in Ogun State have implemented security measures to protect schools from potential attacks by kidnappers and criminal elements.
Schools have been instructed to install Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras at strategic locations on their premises to monitor access and enhance security.
Additionally, they are directed to erect security perimeter fencing and designate specific entry and exit points.
These measures were rolled out by the State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alamutu, during a security meeting on the Safe School Initiative held in Abeokuta.
