Sen Adeola Solomon Yayi 1st Town Hall meeting and EMPOWERMENT of 15000 trained women and youths in Ogun West senatorial districts with equipment and startups grants with thousands of motorcycles , Keke NAPEP Sowing machine, Ambulances , Tractors and hair dryers machine is highly unprecedented and commendable.
Apart from the artisans and traders, the scholarship programme for the indigent students in institutions of higher learnings throughout the country also affirmed the zeal the distinguished Senator has for educational advancement of the zone.
IPAC applauded the noble path Senator Yayi has chosen, because rather than throw crumbs at people, he prefer building the necessary social and physical infrastructure, train people in life skills, and give them startup funds or equipment.
The empowerment will surely make the people of the senatorial district self-reliant and more prosperous.
We at IPAC is not known for flattery, but we can describe the Senator’s bold initiative as a pragmatic example worthy of emulation by other political office holders and leaders including well-meaning individuals and corporate bodies, not only in Ogun West, but also across the State, instead of flaunting their wealth and throwing crumbs at the downtrodden and less privileged individuals.
