The Supreme Court has fixed October 26, 2023 for judgment in the case brought against the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the Labour Party and its candidate, Peter Obi; and Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the February 25, 2023 election.
The Supreme Court had on Monday dismissed the appeal brought by the Allied Peoples Movement against Tinubu.
This followed the withdrawal of the suit by the party.
Obi, Labour Party, Abubakar and the PDP had gone to the Supreme Court to challenge the ruling of the Presidential Election Petitions Court, which threw out their objections to the outcome of the poll.
They sued Tinubu; his running mate, Vice President Kashim Shettima; and the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The judgement date has been confirmed by all the parties involved.
