The Imole Campaign Council has firmly dismissed claims of a hidden political pact regarding Governor Ademola Adeleke’s support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
Reacting to comments made by Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo, who congratulated the Osun State governor on his victory and hinted at an “agreement,” council spokesperson Pelumi Olajengbesi clarified that the endorsement is strictly performance-based.
Olajengbesi stressed that the decision reflects appreciation for economic reforms that have benefited states rather than any pre-arranged political deal, insisting that the mandate given by Osun voters should be respected entirely as an expression of the people’s choice.
