NLC issues nationwide strike notice over fuel price hike

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has issued a nationwide strike notice over some government policies including the hike in fuel pump price.

ValidViewNetwork gathered that this was one of the decisions reached at NLC’s Central Working Committee, CWC, meeting held Tuesday, July 25, at Abuja Labour House.

NLC spokesperson, Mr. Ben Upah confirmed this on Wednesday.

According to him, the nationwide strike would commence on 2nd August, 2023.

“Yes, the nationwide strike will commence on 2 August 2023. We will soon issue a communique to that effect”, he said.
