Nigerian Navy Warns Criminals in Delta State to Desist or Face Action

The Nigerian Navy Ship Delta has issued a stern warning to criminals operating within its areas of operation, urging them to desist from their activities or face the consequences.

The warning was delivered by the NNS Delta Commander, Commodore Abba Muhsin, during a quarterly Route March exercise conducted by the personnel of the Command in Warri.

Commodore Muhsin emphasized that the NNS Delta Areas of Operation are not safe havens for criminals and urged them to leave peacefully.

He reiterated the Navy’s commitment to maintaining security and ensuring the safety of law-abiding citizens conducting legitimate businesses in the area.

The Route March, which commenced at the Warri Naval Base at about 6:15 am, covered various routes including Okere Road, Airport Road, and the NPA expressway before terminating at the Navy base.

Muhsin stated that the exercise was aimed at enhancing the physical fitness, endurance, and collective abilities of the Navy personnel, aligning with the core values of teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.

On civil-military relations, Commodore Muhsin expressed gratitude to the residents of Delta State, particularly those in Warri, for their support and cooperation.

He noted the strong bond between the Navy and the community and pledged to further strengthen this relationship to ensure the protection and well-being of the people.

Additionally, Muhsin advised Navy personnel to maintain discipline and exercise caution when using social media platforms.

He emphasized the importance of adhering to acceptable standards to avoid making themselves vulnerable online.

The warning from the Nigerian Navy Ship Delta underscores the commitment of the security forces to maintaining law and order in the region and serves as a reminder to criminals of the consequences of their actions.
