Perhaps one of the earliest established organizations in Nigeria is the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors. Under Herbert Heelas Macaulay, a late Nationalist, it was founded in 1934 as the “Licensed Surveyors Association.”
The institution has found fourteen distinguished members worthy to join the league of Fellows.
The fourteen distinguished Surveyors who are found worthy of the exalted position of the Fellow of the Association have been congratulated by Dr. Sola Atilola, Chairman of the Board of Fellows.
