The United Kingdom is set to witness another historic move of God as Light Up Wales 2025 holds on Friday, April 18, 2025 (Easter Friday) with Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), fondly known around the world as Daddy G.O. The power-packed revival meeting is poised to be a spiritual turning point for Wales, the UK, and beyond.

Wales, a land of stunning landscapes, rich heritage, and deep spiritual roots which is often referred to as the “Land of Revival” holds a special place in Christian history.

The 1904 Welsh Revival, led by Evan Roberts ignited a powerful spiritual awakening that shook the nation and reverberated across continents. Welsh missionaries and evangelists carried the flames of revival across Africa, especially Nigeria, planting seeds that have since blossomed into vibrant Pentecostal movements like RCCG.

The revival that once flowed from Wales to Africa now finds its way back home in a divine circle of destiny, making Light Up Wales a prophetic return and not just a gathering or crusade.

In 2025, the Light Up crusade series led by the General Overseer of RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye has impacted various cities in the UK and other countries of the world, stirring revival fires with thousands in attendance.

Other parts of the UK that have witnessed Light Up in 2025 are Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Leeds, and London, while several other countries of the world and cities in Nigeria have had this unique encounter in 2025.

Each of these crusades has witnessed astounding outpourings of God’s power — salvation, healing, prophetic declarations, and renewed spiritual hunger across Europe, ValidViewNetwork reports.

Light Up Wales 2025 is a divinely strategic moment for: Spiritual awakening in a region once known for its revivals, Unity among churches and believers across denominational lines, Rekindling the fire of evangelism in the UK and Europe and Restoration of Wales’ prophetic identity as a beacon of God’s light.

The crusade is expected to be a wonderful time in God’s presence with spirit-filled prayer, and message culminating in Miracles, signs, and wonders by the power of the Holy Spirit. It promises to be an awesome time of Salvations and rededications and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit for the UK and Wales.

coming up on Easter Friday is symbolic as it aligns with the remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross, making the message of salvation even more poignant.

Just as Jesus gave His life to bring light to the world, the program seeks to ignite that light in Wales — from churches to communities, from individuals to institutions, from careers to businesses and finances.

Adeboye, a former university lecturer with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics who will be ministering live, has become a respected global spiritual leader and evangelist. His ministry has touched millions with signs, wonders, and an unmistakable message of holiness and salvation.

RCCG UK, under the leadership of Pastor Leke Sanusi and regional coordinators, has mobilized thousands of workers and ministers across Wales and surrounding regions. Evangelism teams, intercessory prayer chains, logistics, transportation, and volunteer coordination have all been meticulously planned to ensure a seamless experience of this remarkable date in the history of Wales.
