Fuji music legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate or Kwam 1, has tendered an unreserved and heartfelt apology following an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on August 5, 2025.

The controversy erupted when Kwam 1 attempted to board a ValueJet flight to Lagos carrying a water flask that airport officials alleged contained an unidentified liquid substance suspected to be alcohol, a prohibited item on flights.
