​In a twist of fate that feels more like a movie script than reality, a gang of suspected kidnappers was apprehended at an Auchi hospital after they unknowingly sought medical help for their children from the very doctor they had previously abducted.

​The victim, Dr. Abu Ibrahim Babatunde, was performing his rounds at the hospital when he encountered the men. He immediately recognized them as the individuals responsible for his harrowing kidnapping weeks prior—a crime that tragically resulted in the murder of his younger brother.

​Maintaining his composure, Dr. Babatunde discreetly alerted hospital security and management. Police operatives moved in swiftly, taking the suspects into custody before they could vanish back into the shadows.
