Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed his deep pains over the situation of Nigerian youths while encouraging them to get prepared for the good time and take advantage of it. .

Obasanjo stated this during the 26th edition of BOILING POINT ARENA.

He said, ”I cannot say maybe it is good or not good to japa considering the situation in the country as it affects the youths. However, I will encourage those who have ‘japa’ to be preparing to return. Some returned while I was the President and a number of them stayed back.

According to the Former Head of State, ”Nigeria will be great again”.

Speaking further, Obasanjo charged the youths to get prepared for the challenges ahead by acquiring training and skills that will drive the economy in years to come as the world becomes an automated environment.

”During our time, we had limited facilities but almost unlimited opportunities. Today, you have almost unlimited facilities but the opportunities you have are very small. So , what can we do? I will say that there is no time that you will not get the bad time closing and good time coming. I am an incurable optimist that Nigeria will be great”.
