The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the full operational recovery of its Central Admissions Processing System following a temporary technical disruption.
In a statement issued on Monday, the board instructed tertiary institutions across the country to accelerate their respective admission workflows to make up for lost time. Candidates have similarly been advised to monitor their dashboards closely and accept provisional offers without delay.
Reiterating the schedule for the 2026/2027 academic cycle, public universities must conclude all admission procedures by October 31, 2026. Private universities have until November 30, 2026, while remaining tertiary institutions—including polytechnics and colleges of education—are expected to round off their exercises by December 31, 2026.
Furthermore, the board has called on candidates who recently awaited their credentials to promptly upload or verify their O’Level results following the release of the 2026 National Examinations Council Senior School Certificate Examination outcomes. This step is vital to ensure seamless consideration as schools intensify screening and placement.
While expressing regret over any inconveniences experienced during the platform downtime, the board commended stakeholders for their patience and urged strict adherence to the approved timelines.
